Taliwang 99 Sunset Road Bali

It's been a while (like 2 weeks) I didn't pass Sunset Road. Last weekend I went to Cineplex 21 (cinema) and suprise there is a restaurant in the opposite of Cozy. It was a field from what I can remember. Building a restaurant in 2 weeks? hmm.. Maybe I didn't notice when they built it.. 

 

I tried the Ikan Laut (krapu) bakar, Paket Ayam Bakar. They are OK, normal like anyothers. The good things they are cheap. The bad things it's quite dirty. Now you have an alternative in kuta area for cheap bakar type of food.

O`India Indian Restaurant Sunset Road Bali

I'm not a big fan of Indian Food, but I can tell you the food is nice in this restaurant. I was invited by the owner because her daughter celebrated her birthday. I almost like everything they offered. I'm sorry I couldn't get the name of the food.

Rumors - Peti Tenget

I loveeee.. their tenderloin steak.. It's so tender and the sause is just click with me. The best in town I would say. 

This place only provide western type of food. You can park at the field opposite to the restaurant. In some occasaion, they have a party with famous DJ and dancers.

Lancang Khuning - Denpasar

After soft opening party of Blue Eyes the other day about 3++ AM, we were starving and tried to get nasi jinggo. We visited 2 famous places and they were all closed. Well only nasi padang open this kind of time, our choice then Lancang Khuning in Jl. Gatot Subroto. right in the intersection of Jl. Nangka.

At this time (3.30 AM) the food is mostly cold. Chicken is hard! It nearly break my teeth haha just joking. I'm not sure if it will the same during normal time.

This is an international restaurant, so I think you know more.

Warung Made - Seminyak

Most wanted place by domestic tourist!!

Made's Warung or Warung Made has 2 warung. One in Jl. Bakung Sari and the other one is in Jalan Seminyak. The one in Bakung Sari is smaller and only for pedistrian, they don't have any car / bike space. The other one in Seminyak is a lot bigger and you can park about 50 car *i think* behind the venue. 

This warung sells many type of food: western, indonesia, chinese, balinese. Why people come here? For domestic, they want to have balinese food which you can normally have only in small dirty warung. For foreigner, they like the balinese touch of this restaurant. Well this is only my opinion.

The food is nice and price is reasonable.

Feyloon - Renon

If you want to eat chinese food in Denpasar, THIS IS THE PLACE!! People said quality and price are equal, that's certainly right in this case.

I met the chef, he is from Hongkong. This place is selling all kind of chinese foods and steam boat as well.

Ikan Bakar Cianjur - Renon

This place is ROCK. Every night this place is packed. For me this is the BEST Ikan Bakar / Goreng in Denpasar. The place is huge and the waiting time is reasonable.

Ayam Presto - Teuku Umar

For me this place is one of the best Fried Chicken in Denpasar. The address is in Jl. Teuku Umar. The chicken is very crispy and tasty. The lalapan is fresh and sambal is also nice, not too hot not too mild. Put a bit of lemon and bit of Kecap Manis on the sambal and mix them. yummm...

Baker's Corner

I went to Baker's Corner the other day to watch one of biggest EPL (English Premiere League) matches, MU vs Liverpool. Both of them are just my favourite teams!!

I was a bit suprise when I was asked for 25000 rupiah payment to watch the game. WTF? I regularly had dinner here and well I never pay for the entrance. But, we were here and desperately want to watch the game.

Bumbu Desa Renon

This is a very typical SUNDANESE Restaurant. Gurami Goreng, Ayam Goreng (kecap, kuning, etc), Ayam Bakar Kecap, Empal Gepuk, hmm.. so many.. Udang, Cumi, etc.. 

I like the Ayam Bakar Kecap, so soft and tasty. The rest I fell OK same like the others. The Price... Gurami is expensive 38.500 compare to the taste, Ayam is OK 10.000, Empal +-11.000. 

The good thing are:

• You can take as much sambal as you like
• You can take as many lalapan as you like

The sambal is not stable, i mean the taste. Sometime it's very very good, but the other time is not good.

Sushi Tei Japanese Restaurant in Bali

Another well known Japanese Restaurant opened in Bali. The building is so nice so special, you won't miss it when you pass Sunset Road, Kuta. I guess you can find all your favorite japanese food menu here. I would say the food is nice, the price is reasonable for this quality. Some of my friends said the sushi is not so fresh? For me it's nice, but I'm not really a sushi lover.

Dekade Indonesian Food Restaurant

I kind of forgot the street name of Dekade Restaurant. If you go from Jl. Gatot Subroto from SANUR (EAST), then after Teras Ayung Residence you turn right (go NORTH). About 50m you'll find DEKADE signage on the right side (EAST)

They sell Ikan Goreng, Ayam Goreng and a lot more. My favourite is Tahu Telor. The food is OK not so special, not bad as well. The price is considered cheap for this kind of restaurant.
